Summer is nearly upon us

And with the advent of the warmer seasons I have returned to work. :(

I'm a cook, and the restaurant I work at is a seasonal place in a tourist town, it is only open from May to October, but it is usually quite busy that entire time. I very rarely get more than one day off a week, and some times I don't even get a day off for several weeks straight, and it can be very grueling work, especially in the heat of summer, kitchens have no AC.

What does that mean for this blog?
With the lack of knitting there probably won't be many posts around here for a while, I will post whenever possible, but don't expect as much as there has been.

Don't worry, the knitting excitement (such as there was) will return with October and my freedom, and also with the NY sheep and wool festival (YAY!)

Ok, I have no idea why my last comment was "a". What I was going to say is that I can't seem to follow the link to the festival, I keep getting looped back to your LJ.

Oh, boo! Don't you hate it when silly things like work get in the way of your knitting? I hope you can still enjoy a bit of knitting before October. I'll miss reading your updates.

Yeah, thanks for the heads up! ;o) Wow, I couldn't do that. I hate heat and cooking almost equally, and to do it like you have to, just the thought makes me want to jump into our ice cold pool!
